Guidance is a method that supports the learning and development process of professionals, in an individual interview or group, where the guidance recipient is given space to reflect on in order to develop and make better use of their skills at work. Employee guidance ensures the quality of the service and promotes the use of evidence-based methods instead of emotionality, it is a prevention against burnout and helps guidance recipients to distinguish between personal and professional self. STUDY IN GUIDANCE

A diploma in guidance studies is a 30-credit interdisciplinary study after completing university studies for professional qualifications in the field of psychotherapy, social, health or educational sciences.

The aim of the study is for students to acquire knowledge and understanding of guidance sciences and the ability to provide professional guidance in their work and to implement and plan guidance systems in the workplace.

Guidance students learn to apply a systems approach and a dynamic view of communication between individuals, professional groups and in institutional collaboration.

The theoretical basis of the study is connected to the ideology and central psychodynamic concepts of guidance theory.
In a theoretical review, attention is drawn to the state of professional guidance in the present, changing subjects
and needs, among other things based on ever-changing social conditions and new premises for professionalism.
